Molecular Biology
Molecular Diagnostics is housed in one of the largest sophisticated university based laboratories in the country. The molecular diagnostics laboratory is responsible for the development and performance of molecular diagnostics tests for nucleic acid targets found in variety of setting in medicine.
Microbiology
Microbiology laboratory carries out culture sensitivity tests on various specimens like throat swab, stool, HVS and fluids. Fluid examination includes CSF Ascetic, pleural and pericardial and synovial fluids. Fungus culture is also done. Serology tests include widal, ANA, ASOT & RPR Routine DR and stool DR examination are performed in microbiology section.
Blood Bank
Diagnostics and research laboratory is well equipped modern diagnostics laboratory and blood bank with apharies unit open 24 hrs. We provide the following products of blood like packed red cells, FFPS platelets (small and mega unit of platelets).
Cytology/Histopathology
For patients with haematologic/oncologic malignancies, cytogenetic testing plays a key role in the diagnosis, prognosis, and selection and monitoring of treatment. As tumor markers are identified and targeted therapies are developed, results of testing performed in the Cytogenetics Laboratory are a valuable addition to clinical and pathologic information.
